In the layers menu you can toggle on and off the terrain layer and the image layer.

how do u get those toolbars i only have the top 1 how do i get the other 1

go to the "View" menu and then "Toolbars" and then either "getting started" or "google" will work. You can also do the same thing by going to the "tools" menu, then "google earth" then "get Model" and "Place Model" Hope that helps!
