  • bullshit.

china will prove that u can innovate new tech products and be a global empire without having democracy.

all this democracy nonsense is western propaganda.

people said u cant manufacture without democracy, and china has destroyed that myth.

people said u cant have consumption without democracy, and china has destroyed that myth.

now people are saying u cant innovate without democracy, and china WILL destroy that myth in the future.

  • Of course China isn't any good at innovation. They keep buying their technology and secrets from the Americans! The problem with China is that they care more about pleasing their elders, superiors, and peers rather than developing things on their own. In my opinion, they put way too much power and faith in the hands of the state.

  • I completely agree with Mr. Segal's analogy here. China cannot move forward by maintaining a dictatorship system.

Look up an article by Steven Hill called "The China Superpower Hoax" in which he takes a good hard look at the overwhelming obstacles China must overcome in order to become the powerhouse it aspires to be. A country like Brazil however which has a more American style democratic system is much more likely to outdo its BRIC alliance partners.

  • @WoodlandRavah africa

Seriously what NON software thing have THEY invented recently?!
