JOSH!!! Was on my Franciscan LEAD Team :)

To whoever is saying things about there being no diversity, I go to Franciscan and one of my best friends there is Indian, another is Vietnamese, another is from Uganda, and another is from Hong Kong.
What separates this school from all the others is everyone truly loves God and neighbor. Everyone loves everybody. It is how the whole world should be. Praise God forever!

you judge yourself... God is alwayw waitng for you. Paolo from Rome

If God does indeed love me, then, He should judge me on my efforts to live a good life and not on whether I've followed a particular religion.
-
Ive been praying for you. Hope your not an agnostic still come back to the faith and the Eucharist. GOD still loves you.

I was here at FUS four and a half years ago. There is not racism but something worst and shared by many people: social class disparity. Private catholic schools get wealthy people. Poor latin american countries haved rooted christianity in a way that can be compared to Europe, which is a fact that the torical tradition of the US (puritain, protestant, capitalist, racist) can't assimilate. Latin christianity has been in those countries for centuries! And not all catholics are the same for sure!
-
I went to FUS and grad in 2000 and when I was there there were quite a few Latinos, and I'm sure the population has grown since then. We also had a substantial international population.
I think there is an economic factor here that you really can't deny. The school is not racist, but statistically speaking, minorities earn less than Caucasions, which makes it difficult to attend a private school.

One more thing, STubbie u SUcks
One of my best friends on campus is Asian-American. And besides anyone who choses a school based solely on its racial make-up probably has their priorities confused.

Stormguy110 is incorrect.
I'm an Alum of Franciscan University. I'm good friends with African Americans and Asian Americans who attended/attend this school. They certainly are the minority, I won't deny that, but it's definitely not a 'whites only' campus.
