Question: One of the biggest problems facing NY solvency are Federal unfunded entitlements and mandates that affect not only the state, but also county and local municipalities that lead to crippling payroll and property taxes. Across the country, dozens of state legislatures are fighting against the Federal Government exceeding its authority under the Constitution with 10th Amendment bills and nullification bills. In NY, State Senator Nozzolio, and 12 cosponsors introduced J4716, a10th Amendment and nullification bill. Would you sponsor and support an Assembly supporting bill, why, and if so, would you give it some teeth?
