So you think you're a man?

So many people percieve themselves to be something they are not. None more so than many self described "Men" today. This is a poem which always inspired me and which I believe is undeniably accurate in its wisdom. Perhaps there is too much jingoism and too little active forming of young minds and hearts going on these days. When I grew up learning such as this was mandatory. Now I guess it will be ridiculed by those who cannot ever hope to match its ideals.. If

If you can keep your head when all about you

There`s a lot to being a man. It`s being a role model, responsible, balanced, and fearless. Yet we must be gentle, kind, caring and very open to our ladies when they need us to. We enjoy the ride of being male, and there are many rewards in the process when we do it with a humble approach but without becoming a welcome mat at the same time.
