Classic Game Room HD - RAIDEN 3 for Playstation 2

"Just because the graphics are better doesn't mean the game is better" - Classic Game Room HD review of the vertical space ship shooter, Raiden III. Is this one of the hardest, toughest, most complex SHMUPS in history? Is it better than Gradius V 5, is it better than Ikaruga... or Radiant Silvergun (Radient for those who misspell the game) on the Sega Saturn?

Raiden3 is an awesome vertical shoot-em-up that sends wave after wave of alien bad guys to their doom at the hands of your red fighter ship. This game is a single and two-player game and is on the PS2 game console. It's also sort of like Mars Matrix and MUSHA... but not really, it's RAIDEN (not the guy from Mortal Kombat)

Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The HD series is reviewing PS3, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. Xbox Live Arcade XBLA. Is Raiden, Radiant Silvergun or Ikaruga coming to Xbox Live in 2008? Beats me, I just hope the search engines find this.

@cwm2k I recommend you DonPachi and DoDonpachi series, they're awesome, and Mark did some reviews of these ones! If you ask me, I would start with DonPachi, it's really easy to get into that one.

Because of this review, not only did I buy this game, I rented the movie as well and it was pretty good. That makes a great review when you can get two for one out of a night of fun. Oh well, you think it sucks and I think it's awesome. We human beings are an interesting species.
