This is the first of several instructional lessons on my arrangement of "Greensleeves," perhaps better known as "What Child Is This." It's a great, time tested traditional English tune, that of course works well with acoustic guitar. If you have not yet heard the song in its entirety, I would recommend starting there, then moving on to the lessons. It's in my workshop section--same title but says "demo" rather then "lesson" at the end. Feel free to comment or ask questions if I jumped over something, and I'll try to help out. Most of all, have fun!

Blessings, Ken

P.S. The original lesson was too long for Youtube's 10 minute max, so the rest is in "1b."

  • @nayaramello27 , Si, mi tambien!

  • I could not make out what you said at the start of this recording, It sounded as if you you said "this irish traditional melody". I might have got that wrong, but just in case I wanted to say that this is tradional English (and definitely not irish).
