I have wondered for DECADES what these lyrics mean.. can anyone translate please please please please?

Thank you very much. I saw this in the late 80s and it made a strong impression on me. Music- and experiencewise. I have been searching for this with the help of fine young cannibals, since the same persons where dancing in a video, no luck till I watched the intro for the OS from Albertville (which is the most beautiful so far and I wanted to compare it with Vancouver :)) and realized that it must be the same choreographer. Indeed it was. I am delighted to see it again. It has aged very well.

I saw this way back when it was aired on Alive From Off Center. So great to see it again! I'd love to know what this piece of music is.

I first saw this on television back in the 1980s when I was an impressionable teenager and it had a massive impression on me. Watching it for a second time 20 years on makes me wonder where the years went - I still think it's very beautiful.
