With the whole "grabbing the horns" thing that seems to be in every third comment, I'm pretty sure Zeron (or Gerhardt, or Gesicht, whatever you like to call him) only grabbed him by the horns because he KNEW Pluto couldn't faze him with electricity, but he didn't know about the horns being movable.
But that brings one question... Why didn't he just let go when Pluto lifted up his arms to pull him apart? He seemed like a smart and quick robot...

Goddamnit, what the hell did they do to Gerhardt's death? In the manga, that scene was disturbing as hell. It made my skin crawl, I sat through the end of Akira pretty unfazed.
