Its admirable that Aravind can accomplish all healthcare objectives. The US is kept a fertile feeding ground for entrepreneurs. The food and entertainment industries keep everyone fat, drugs cost 10x more, doctors must work fee-for-service, insurance and lawyers get their 30%, with top-heavy numbers of medical bureaucrats and administrators. Gates himself encourages this trend with his own corporate protection business. Eventually protectionism for US consumers will have to match India's poor.
