SPB sung in Telugu , Mano in Tamil. IR sir used Mano being SPB is very busy at that time.

@kusumap I agree with you and it is sweet when we hear. also i would like to add 1 more point. subramaniya bharathi made another statement as he knows 6 languages that 'Yamarintha molikalilae Tamil moli pol yedhuvum illai' (with my known languages, i have never seen tamil language richness when compare to other languages)

One of Ilayaraja's best, without doubt!! I do not understand much of Telugu but i grew up with this song being played on the stereo at home. SPB is nectar to the ears. I recently heard the Tamil version, it wasn't half as good. The words here sound music.
