Of course, everyone knows that running FRAPS while gaming is going to lower 3-5 fps. I was getting a solid 27-31 fps using fraps, and about 31-35 fps without it on "High" settings maximum "1366x768" resolution.

Runs very smooth for a laptop. A word of advice tho, play games using a desk because this baby gets hot!

These are my specs:

15.6" Lenovo IdeaPad Y560
Intel Core i5-450m @ 2.4GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 graphics
4GB of PC3-8500 DDR3 @ 1066MHz

Win7 Home Premium 64-bit

I was very satisfied with this laptop, for I only spent the marvelous amount of $749.99 at CompUSA.

It is quite rare to find these astonishing specs for the price.

I also play Prototype using "High" settings and 2x anti-aliasing as well. Will upload a video very soon, so stay tuned and subscribe if you'd like to see it.

Thanks for watching guys :)

  • Hi, I heard this laptop has video card issues, and haven't been solved by the company 'til now. Did U face such problems?

  • @bi9boss

Nope. Only 3 days after purchase, Lenovo released a BIOS and AMD graphics update. This laptop is roughly 3 months old. It's only reasonable that somethings might not work properly.

  • can you post video of your laptop???

    am eager to see it??

  • @trucktruck093

Sure. I'll post one later on today :)

  • hello, how is the build quality of this model.???

how much hours can i get under normal use??

  • @trucktruck093 - 4-6 hours browsing the internet using Intel HD graphics and "power saver" settings. - 2 1/2 for watching movies using ATI graphics and 3 using Intel HD. - 35 mins - 1 hour of hardcore gaming using ATI graphics and "high performance" settings (NOT RECOMMENDED)

  • i got this laptop... second one.. both have issues... had to call in to get help.

  • Will this handle reasonably new games

  • I bought this laptop 3 months ago and i just use it for tough stuff like gaming and video editing, its acting well extremely high stable performance especially when wired not battery. otherwise i use a small hp netbook mini for web purposes.

  • Hey bro does this laptop have a 5400 rpm hard drive? Cuz I ordered this exact one but it had a 5400 rpm and was wondering if it would run this well. And also, did you do a clean install of windows when you got it. or did you just remove the bloatware yourself?

  • check my channel to see nfs hot pursuit running on this laptop

  • Do all new Ati graphic cards switch? I wanna get the ati 6470m and was wondering if this graphic switched? and if so is it automatic or manual? Tech support doesn't know the answer to this question.

  • this damage physix should be in GT5,i'm sure its pure fun!!!
