A tribute to Pentti who passed away recently on september 30th 2009.
He became famous by driving a Vauxhall Chevette in the 1977 british rally championship. In 1979 he clinched the title. RIP rally legend.

Great guy, great driver. Always at full chat always fully committed.Trudging miles into a freezing wet Forrest in the middle of the night all made worth wile for the few moments of noise smell and sight of the man and machine in action.

One of the greatest rally drivers ever. Sometimes misunderstood and definitively underrated. I had the chance to know him and always remember that red Bultaco he drove in his summer place near Hämeenlinna!
Wishing him good journey to the other side and as he would have said "easy in - fast as hell out"..
He can now sit down with Henkka and my dad somewhere there to chat about left foot braking!
