How do I install a different rom made for the fire?
USUALLY, its the same procedure. Refer to the roms original post for instructions.

When I reboot my fire it just goes straight to TWRP, what do I do? (BIG thanks to rbbrdman!)
click start, type cmd, press enter. type the following commands (this is assuming u have the kindleadb folder in place on C drive)
cd c:\kindleadb
adb shell
idme bootmode 4000

I'm not sure if this has been covered elsewhere but I can't for the life of me find it on the net anywhere: Is it possible to view e-books you've purchased from Amazon on another PC my Fire after I've rooted it and installed CM7? My wife purchased an e-book on her PC and I'm not sure how to view it on the Fire after rooting. Thanks in advance. Your steps to root and install CM7 were great by the way!

can someone help me here? I want to know if when copying the gapps and wipeall to the kindle do i caopy the entire zip or unzip it and then add the individual items from the zip?

I flashed CM7 onto my Fire today and it was working great but after i turned it off and restarted it i have not been able to get it to connect to wifi, do you have any idea why i can't get a connection on the fire?
