WTF???

I have a problem I just installed mosfet on my gun and tested it. As soon as I aply battery the motor starts to spin altough i dont pull the trigger, where is the problem?
-
@AirFET thanks, catchy song eh?
-
ok first of i wanna say thanks for taking time out to make this video, i could never find anything good on mosfets on youtube. 2. how exactly does that work? mosfets were sooo confusing to me. do u save battery? and 3. did you buy that or make it, if u made it could you message me the schematics? thanks!

Probably the best video demo of how AB mosfets work. It shows the motor stopping not the gearbox and spring stopping quickly.

i have used these mosfets in alot of my personal guns and also my friends guns,
also i have a video of this mosfet being used in my G+G GR-16, ( see video response)
where can this FET be purchased at?

@chinopino7 - Available on Ebay Sir but unfortunately only within Europe at the moment :)

Thanks, and it's 'Far Out' by Sonz of a Loop Da Loop Era from, I think, 1992. Takes me back to my youth haha!

As this is a passive braking MOSFET, does it charge the battery, when the motor is being stopped? I'm not that good in physics, but i think the way this FET works is, that a consumer is plugged in the electric cycle, if the motor should stop, and the motor than acts like an electric generator, charging the battery, and as that builds up resistance, the motor stops.
Does it really work like that? That would mean, its like the braking-energy regeneration in cars

@andromedarr Hi the stopping of the motor does indeed provide a reverse current (and quite a high one at that) but it doesn't happen for long enough to be able to create any meaningful charge. To be honest I'm not even sure that the circuitry within the FET's will allow it to pass back to the battery anyway. In short, your idea is sound but not really practical :)
