Clay's Stage Hustle Dance January 22, 2011, Costa Mesa, CA

Several times a year hustle dancers from Southern California meet at Clay's Stage for a hustle dance. The environment is sort-of "underground" -- and there's usually a dance program or travel program displayed on a large screen over the dancer's heads. Clay's Stage is located in Costa Mesa, about a 45 minute drive in the direction of San Diego from the center of Los Angeles. Some of the favorite music from the golden days of disco are played, in addition to more modern danceable tunes.
