Heroic Sethekk Halls - 80 Moonkin Soloing Anzu's Room

Posted in response to the many moonkin on the WoW druid forums who are unable to clear this room as a balance druid. Hopefully seeing me doing this will help.

Please note that I no longer do this as balance... in fact, I no longer do this instance at all since I got my Raven Lord mount March 14th 2009! :) It is much easier and much faster to clear this instance as feral and I do not recommend doing it as moonkin.

If you can solo the room, can you solo the boss?

Yes but it takes far too long to do as moonkin, I started doing it as feral to save time. I got my mount sometime in the middle of March after 51 runs of Heroic Sethekk.

anzu is only summonable by druid

what about popping starfall and zergin them all? barkskin + hurricane/ typhoon :P

I got him to 20% as a moonkin then he like 1 shotted me :\

actually, farming the raven lord as moonkin is not too bad...

feral is way easier, but still...

i started farming with feral as second (im main moonkin) but needed to respec to heal too often so i tried it again as moonkin as soon as i had some gear.

anzu himself is not too bad if you decurse and got health pots if he crits you 2 hard...

but still...dont lose your focus as a moonkin, since you can die very quickly if you dont pay attention. (got the raven lord after 30-40 tries)
