Fred Ivey has filmed the Bluebell Railway in deepest Sussex since he returned as a volunteer in 1991. This film shows a typical "low season" day at Horsted Keynes. None of the three locos featured here, 78022, Normandy and Bluebell operate the line in 2010 although Bluebell is due to return to service in October 2010.

Much has changed at Horsted Keynes since 1997. Robin Elliot and his team having completed the platform canopy for platform 1 went on to recreate the platform buildings, being a mirror image of those in platform 2. The carriage works has since been extended. Signalling has been up graded.

The film features some well known Bluebell characters such as "Fixit" and "Cuddles". Once you have a nick name you know you have arrived within the Bluebell community.
