Wow! I was there 30 yrs ago and the squadbays and racks look exactly the same but we were never allowed to talk and relax like that. That 's quite unusual. Our DI's would have had us in te classroom thrashiong if we shot the shit like that.

yeah I was in Med Hold and then I was transferred to PCP and it fucking sucks there

I happen to be in MRP during this film. Like sharksfan said, pull your ego away for a sec because 90% of thoose men are your fellow Marines today. Thoose who got sent home hade just as much fight left in them as anyone but there are time limits to how long you are allowed to be in MRP. To anyone who wasn't sent to M.R.P imagine being weeks from graduating and then getting sent to a place where time stops. Im not asking you to show respect but shut your fucking trap

Seeing this shit almost brings a tear to my eye, I was so close to graduation and they discharged me because I had a "serious" injury, it was only a couple bones broken in my wrist.
