Tek One - Broken String (bass solo)

So I already posted this video, but I decided to up the bass volume after hearing some feedback. I also tried posting in color just for kicks, breaking my theme of black and white vids.

how did you mod your bass for the B string? i dig your work man

@GreenFenceProduction Thanks man I appreciate it. I had someone else mod it for me, but I believe all he did was adjust the nut for thicker strings (not sure if he carved the existing one or made a new one) and adjust the action. I've never been sure of the proper way to adjust the action, I know it has to be very precise though. So it was actually very simple, but I'd probably still have someone who knows whats up do it. Hope that helps.

@manderson1us I'm actually not using an amp, I'm running directly through a cheap audio interface and recording using Garageband, although within Garageband I'm using a '70s amp simulation cause I normally use a '70s Fender Bassman live. The pedals are a SansAmp Bass Driver and a Boss DD6 with a really short delay so its more like a reverb effect.  Also, I modified this bass for B E A D strings, no high G so that's really why the low end sounds so fat. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

@SadisticB1tch haha awesome man, that makes me happy. I'm always glad to get people into new genres of music cause I love when other people do the same for me. In fact the friend that recommended this song to me is the one who told me to turn up the bass volume. I really want to make a video for Sleep with One Eye Open (also by Tek One) but I haven't been able to come up with any bass parts I feel add to the song. Any suggestions?
