Just a quick overview of how we use Ableton live and the Ability Controller in our Worship services.
The video was a quick and (jerky) effort on my iphone, excuse the quality
This also features our Black eyed peas/Happy Day remix

  • Hi,

I was wondering where you got the swell of chords that you use in the video?

  • @kryptosohn We use a range of ambient pads now, but started with some downloaded from guitarforworship. com. They are great

  • do you use the sounds that come with the Ableton suite or do you use other libraries (like East West)? Thanks for the Video!

  • @CalebDoyle88 Hi, we tend to edit our loops in Reason then export them as sections in Ableton. We get alot from the Bwacks forum, or scaredloops and Our Rising Sound. Also check out interactiveworshiplive

  • Well that's just completely warped my mind! I love the idea of this - it's just the thought of implementing it (and having all the hardware/software in the first place!

    Thanks for that.

  • @hyperfee Feel free to email me if I can help you at all!

  • how did you creat your pad loops? i'm trying to create some pads to base a short talk and have the pad undertoning it before we start a song. how do i do that in ableton it keeps starting loud then fading..thank you!

  • Very interesting - how do you (1) Get Live to move automatically to the next scene - do you set "follow on actions" in all the clips of the scene? (2) Jump to a scene have you midi mapped a switch to the scene launch? (Newbie with Live here). How do you automatically move to the next song? (You might yet show this but I'm halfway thru watching!)

    Blessings

  • Where did you find the 7 minute loops and templates? Thanks

  • Great video showing your setup. Thanks! Appreciate you showing. Nice flexibility with Ableton and footpedal. We use mostly MP3 loops from mymusicwriter
