Halifax At Night ~ Eight Days ~

This urban night video was produced by, Harrison Burton (Owner and operator of Colossal Visions Productions), in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is a compilation of footage I have collected after countless nights driving, biking and walking in Halifax. I was inspired to film this urban video when I heard the song, "Eight Days". This song was produced by a Canadian Hip-Hop group called, "The Extremities". The Extremities own all rights to the music used in the video. My father, David Burton, was a part of a group of professional musicians who contributed audio samples and recordings to the production of this track. He showed me this song about a year ago and I knew I needed to shoot an urban night video to this track, "Eight Days". It has been quite a process getting some of these shots and I am very happy with how they came together with the smooth vibe of this song. I came to realize how interesting and beautiful our city really can be at night. Some nights it can be extremely quiet and others are insanely busy. Overall, I have learned a lot from the production of this video and I can't wait to shoot another urban night video in another city. Let me know what you think!
