They are pure evil, specially at night the strobe effect is insanely annoying!

  • @42gram stop wondering asshole, you are

  • @Sebhelyesfarku Think you just outed your self! =)

  • You say its ANNOYING?

    They got your ATTENTION?

    You NOTICED them?

    You SAW them?

    you REACTED to them?

    Then they did there job.

  • @shaggy80hunter suppose you are one of those that like the flashing bike lights too?!

  • it's just because you have a rubbish camera with under 30 frames per second. Looking at those lights they would all appear on - but through your rubbish camera you get that effect. It will do it with LED signs too.

The solution is not to use a rubbish camera, film on a decent one and this will not show.

  • Oh come on! if you see that in real life, than you have been equipped with a pretty sophisticated CMOS sensor like my Canon Legria S100. Change your shutter priority to 1/125 instead of using 1/500. Somehow I always knew these bionic sensors in humans won't work properly. Nothing beats Mother Nature. :D

  • I don't have the effects like this guy has BUT I have a thirs breake light that flashes quickly and after two seconds it goes solid. My tail lights blink moderately and stop after 5 seconds.

Annoying? Perhaps...BUT you notice blinking lights much more readliy than a solid light.

I did mine like this because I'm in a small little car that gets pushed around on the road. I also installed a train horn for the rest of the morons out on the road who like to do stupid -ish.

  • @urbex2007 well said

  • @42gram I just don't like to get rear ended. I don't know where you live but no one can drive around here and things like this might help. I need to pulse my brakes so i can pull into my driveway without some one locking their tires up behind me.

  • @chackers If you HONESTLY.. have this much trouble "noticing" (scanning lights) as you said....

And this type of light makes it THIS hard for you to drive that your gonna crash from them....

Then Honestly you cant do basic multitasking, there for you should not be driving anyways

  • @shaggy80hunter There's a difference between "getting your attention" and "distracting you:" these lights do the latter. ALL lights should get your attention equally: ALL brake lights should be the same; all turn signals, headlights, and taillights,as well. A significant difference is, by definition, a distraction. It's hard enough to scan for lights that are similar: you shouldn't have to be scanning different TYPES of lights, too. And the "excuse me" analogy is near perfect.

  • @chackers Honestly. if these lights distract you. then you have other problems.

If these lights.. annoy you then you have other problems.

They got your attention they did there job......

You took your time to post a video about it, it got your attention, they did there job.

I find nothing juvenile about these lights...

Your "example" of the "excuse me" is not relevant as it has nothing to do with driving.

I honestly do not see how lights like these are dangerous. they did there job
