The boy's face looks like something you would see on DMT... I understand the song as being about losing your 'ego.' Once you lose your 'need' to have everything conform to your ego's demands you can get in touch with your unconscious, which is the real you. The ego is the you that you can see, but is only the tip of the iceberg. Once you stop being led by your ego you realize money, fame, and power are well within your reach, but at the same time you realize that they mean nothing.
