  • which language is this ..It is similar to Jharkhand dialects...or it is some jharkhand language song

  • As said in the describtion.. the language used is of people originating from Santhali / Adivasi area of cetral India. As they are settled long time back in Assam , it has a Assamese connection also.. basically all the languages.. Assamese / Bengali / Oriya / Santhali are differrent...

  • Until recently I never knew Assam and Bangladesh are so close in every aspect of culture.Breaks my heart that we are 2 separate country. Some foreign enemy separated us. We should be ONE. Should be one Bangla. Assam, Kolkata, Mizuram all of us.

  • This song is in Bengali - Assamese mixed dialect as spoken by the people who are originally from Orissa/ jharkhand..but has over the years adopted Assam as their motherland. Asssamese language is different from Bengali.. So please dont mix them up. And being geographically nearer its quite natural to have some common words.

  • Mizo language is totally different and a bengali / assames person will not understand even a single word of Mizo language

  • This is not Assamese, its called "Bagani". Its a mixture of Assamese, Bengali and Hindi. This spoken by people who are into Tea Plantation in Assam. Tea Fields are called "Chai Bagan" in Assam and hence the Language "Bagani". :)

  • what is that from 2:35 to 2:37 ?? was that necessary ?

  • @tezpuria NO it is not a santhali song. Santhali songs are totally different to this one.

  • this is not assamese language...its a language spoken by the tea tribes of assam..they were basically from orrisa,mp,bihar, jharkhand etc...during british era the britsh took them from these states to work as labours in the tea garden of assam..

  • Definitely, it is a mixture of all 7 sisters of north-east region. Very nice song...I love my birth place Assam a lot n this song reminded me Assam. Whichever part of the north-east region the songs belongs, it hardly matters me, as long as i can understand it all. Music means to touch one's heart....so it did....thats it......Wonderful work... keep it up....!!!

  • the song is perfectly beautiful...........totally baaganiiii but i wish if there could be some more changes in d choreopgraphy and costumes, hair style.. it seems like the actors were made to wear borrowed dresses!!!The Locations are serene and pious..... beautiful north east and please no fight over d language thing..music cant' have barriers.
