A super-quick, defensive-minded point guard with great competitiveness. He has a great first step, making him very difficult to stay in front of, and is constantly looking to get other players involved. He can get into the lane at will, runs P&R, and has a variety of creative finishes in the lane. Very good passer with an understanding of tempo and spacing that enables him to be a successful pass-first PG. Also possesses good athleticism, which allows him to finish at the rim and be a presence on the defensive glass. A big-time rebounder in college, he is able to jump-start fast breaks and create easy transition opportunities. Needs to continue to develop his outside shot, but is a solid midrange shooter and has a smooth stroke with 3-point range. Was a 3-time Defensive Player of the Year for his conference in college. Plays passing lanes extremely well, and with his quickness and instincts, is a terrorizing on-ball defender who picks up full court.
