  • Baiba and Lauma - it's nothing strange, if you know, that they are Latvians ;)

  • Hallo Smorgy,

Splendid, never heard of those two gals. Baiba and Lauma, strange names.

Fritz Kreisler is really Old Europe at its best and Vienna is its center

    .

This is the German channel zdf I know well. Can you get this, too???

  • im proud that we latvians have great musicians like these sisters

  • The name Baiba has Barbara as its origin, and Lauma besides being a name means "a fairy" in Latvian.

  • I love to see family playing music together - I play piano and my mum sings too.

I say Baiba when she was in NZ - we just love her!

  • I didn't know that. Thanks! :o) They are wonderful. I hope to see and hear more of them!
