my opinion:

i think cyril inserted a tiny metal on that money and thats why it is folded that way to simply hide the inserted metal (very small) to make it slightly heavier on the right thumb. It can be a small piece of gold or platinum (heavy metals) so that it can support the weight on the otherside

look at his right hand as if he is removing something at 1:34 and vertically showed the money at 90 degress angle at 1:36 to remove the metal sliding to his hand and is closed until end

at 0:17 you can see his hand do a sudden twitch to put the coin at the back of the note.

but im not 100% sure.

at 0:17 he seems to have slipped something into it while folding the banknote, his bracelets and ring might be magnetic.

Cyril is a great magician. I still think Blaine has him beat tho. David Blaine has some of the best hands ive ever seen. Check out the Magician Jon Dorenbos, he is actually an NFL player. He is the long snapper for the Philadelphia Eagles at the moment. He is really good at magic tho, hes even performed at Las Vegas. Check him out, you wont be disappointed.
