I was born a loner, I didn't have much of a choice and I wouldn't want it any other way. For the same reason I am attracted to woman, I am attracted to spend my time alone. I didn’t choose this, I simply AM this.

I was reading threw some comments here and I had to suggest to all who think they are a "loner" to read "Citizen Hobo" by Todd DePastino. The book is about the 29 depression and how the government put into place programs and laws to encourage marriage and family and discourage living alone for one reason:TAXES! Government can't count on single people as a reliable source of taxes like married people with children. So don't beat up on yourself too much, our society has it's intention by design.

It's not hard getting a women. All you have to do is give them your pay check for the rest of your life and do their endless honey do list until you die. And remember after you finish painting the house, mowing the lawn, pruning the trees, washing the close, fixing the leaks, changing the oil, replacing the filters, painting the room, building the furniture she just picked up on sale, washing and waxing her car, you are in an "equal" relationship. That's what she'll call it: "equal."
