"The End Of The World" was Skeeter Davis' signature song. While this song is the saddest song in the world, it is also a celebration of the love two lovers shared for the time it lasted. RIP S.D., you brought such a beautiful spirit to every performance you ever gave.

She had rare honest personality; no surrounding walls or barriers. You felt you could be her friend, sharing everything.
This Country Family Reunion program is from 1997.
A touching later performance was on CFR when she performed "If We Never Meet Again this Side of Heaven (I Will Meet You on that Beautiful Shore)" in her special voice.
