@Thompsongs hey man... i haven't changed the strings, so they should be standard gauge 0.45...

@lucidmist Could be. Are you using standard-gauge strings (.045, .065, .085, .105) ?

@Thompsongs Hey man, I haven't had any issues with the neck so far (touch on wood) LOL. But perhaps it's cos I leave it stored in its hard case.

@lucidmist The way I look at it is: "hey, they didn't rout the fretboard to install real inlays....more wood left on the neck!"

@clank4001 hey clank... i think the inlays have always been painted on.. i'm not sure though, but i heard it's cos geddy likes his fans to be able to afford his bass. :) actual inlays cost a bomb!
