The Track "I Am a Stranger in This World" is taken from Azam Ali's fantastic second solo Album "Elysium For The Brave" (2006). Listen and enjoy it.

Azam Ali's first album, "Portals Of Grace", was such a stunning piece of multicultural lyricism that it quickly established the singer as a major new star of world music. For this follow-up, Ali's had four years to both hone her poetic lyrics and expand on the breadth of musical influences. The result is an intoxicating collection of songs that blend rock, Middle Eastern folk music, and chill-out trance, made all the more exotic and celestial by the presence of Ali's rich vocals.

About Azam Ali: "One of today's most astounding voices"
Azam Ali's voice is a glorious, unforgettable instrument which will set a thousand minarets spinning with its sensuous, rich pulchritude. Her velvet vocals convey both sensuality and devotional ecstasy. She has become one of the best-love vocalist on world music scene.

  • @2011118 In English it is Persian; Farsi is not an English words.

In official documents in English it is spelled Persian not Farsi.

    Genius

  • @AndreiMichael ... Actually its pronounced and spelled Farsi in English. Genius.

  • @2011118 Well Malay and English use the same letters but the languages are totally different! Stop trolling about Persian! Most people I know from Iran call their language "Parsi" not "Farsi". Farsi is from Arabic.

Stop trolling about Persian heritage! You know nothing about what does it mean to be Persian.

  • @AndreiMichael It doesnt matter if you believe it or not. Technical classification of the language is a different story but fact is Farsi is far closer to Arabic than English. The letters are practically the same. Grammatical structure is also similar. Picking up Farsi as a native arabic speaker was far easier for me than classmates. You truly have no idea what you are talking about or the cultures and languages at hand.

  • @2011118 I'm not that sure you're telling the truth bro.

  • @AndreiMichael No. Persian is closer to Arabic than anything. I speak both. You have no idea at you are talking about.

  • me too :-)

  • Besides being a fan of Azam Ali, great pictures. Do not feel like such a stranger anymore after watching and listening. Thanks

  • its Persian(Farsi)

  • @tonnyy06 Persian (Farsi) is an Indo-European language. Check with Wikipedia or any other Encyclopedia.
