thank you for your reply first ;-) and for the tip, i'll try to replace my 250kOms pots for 500kOms : after all, the HS are humbucker, even though they are in single coil format. On my strat , i really like the HS, their articulation , precision and smooth tone, but i find them a little too dark sounding, and i have to set the treble and presence really high on my amps, so i hope they will sound more brighty with the 500kOms.
Have a nice day , and again thanks ;-)

Hi, good video, nice playing and nice background too lol ;-) but i got one question, what is the difference between the 500kOhm pot and the "usual" 250 ? because i got a strat with an HS4 too,, and was wondering why you choose the 500 kOhm ? thanks !

@genolafrite the DiMarzio instructional note stated that if we want to get the best out of an HS single coil pickup, using a 500kOhm volume pot is a must, otherwise u'll get a muddy and not so bright sound than it should to. I was suggested by arroyomusic (u can search for this guy on youtube) that using a 500kOhm volume pot not only produce a clearer n brighter sound, but also more sustain on the notes...so, those are the reasons why i use 500kOhm volume pot :D
