Graphic error in Green Hill Zone (Sonic 1, Master System)

This video shows how to run faster than the camera in Green Hill Zone 1, in Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Master System. Grab the high speed shoes and then run from the hill.
Being faster than the camera means that the objects aren't being drawn, and you can run freely even if there are spikes and badnicks everywhere.
This includes also that you'll skip the ending sign, you'll have to go BACK to spin it :p

This same trick works partially also on the Game Gear version.

I have no idea why you guys are insulting old Mario and Sonic games when there are SO many bad games out there that you could be insulting. Mario and Sonic both rocked hard on 8 and 16 bit. Can we agree?

@nor86 Sonic 2 was worse. In the SMS version there was one pair and you had awesome music to go with it. Apparently in the GG version it was replaced with a ring box.

Just means the camera couldnt keep up, ive had it happen in Sonic 1-3K on Genesis, not a glitch at all actually.

I think it does that because the camera actually tries to scroll ahead so you can see the spike pit (visible at 10 seconds). But since you're going past it already it kinda scrolls ahead too slow and you zoom off the edge of the visible screen.
