Australian Institute of Technology & Education (AITE) held a Graduation Ceremony on Thursday 27 August 2009 for students graduating from the Diploma of Community Welfare Work. AITE also took this opportunity to formally celebrate its fifth anniversary of operation as a fully accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Guests including numerous industry partners, AITE staff and associates along with students family and friends joined together to acknowledge the dedication and achievements of the graduating students and show their support for AITE.
Graduands were thrilled to be formally congratulated by Jenny Mikakos, Member for Northern Metropolitan Region and Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, on behalf of the Premier of Victoria, the Honorable John Brumby MP. The Premier acknowledged the great contribution overseas students make to the life of our State and wished graduands every success in the future.
