Pulse motor V3 preliminary2 - she spins

This is a preliminary video number 2 showing a developement progress with my third pulse motor...
My apologies, but i'm keeping quiet about the controll system i'm developing for the time being...

This system is beyond a point at which i would call it a 'bedini' motor... i'm now refering to it as it's base drive function... it's a pulse motor...

you got to think a lot bigger. in a couple of days i will post my motor. look for "30 Lbs Bedini"

I've seen your 30lbs bedini, nice setup...

I'm upto build 4 now, build 3 proved a concept for me so i've gone bigger... however, my original build 4 went TOO big and i had extra problems...

whats is the coil temp Kev? is it running cold?

the coil is still cold... even running at 200mA it's still cold...

I'm looking at more 'agressive timings' for my pulse motor...

the recovery system hasn't been changed so it should be about the same...

This was just a test to find any problems with the rotor... the real benefits are going to come with the new controll system... the back emf recovery disrupts the power recovery... the new system discharges the BEMF cap during the off pulse instead of the on pulse thus it won't affect the recovery coils...

It's a big build... mental note to self... leave more space between componants... [bangs head on wall]
