@spitefulload I've got a couple of Nine Below Zero albums - Third Degree and Live at the Marquee which is a excellent , Mark Feltham on harmonica is brilliant. They were always supposed to be a really good live band , I'd love to see them if they're still going.

Bruce Foxton managed them wih John Weller after seeing them at a gig in Godalming. They were signed to United Artists., were Bruce's Wife worked.I think Vic Coppersmith Haven produced the song.(says so on the album) How about covering Waiting for the Weekend, by the Vapors.? Spiv

@Spiv62 Thanks for the info on that - I'll have a listen to some more Vapors as I've never heard anything else by them. Don't suppose you know of a band called 9 below zero, similar sort of band - they were on the Young Ones once, never seen again

@spitefulload Hi Marc... 9 below Zero were a great tight R & B band, kinda Dr Feelgood vibe to them... I only Have 1 album called Don't point your finger... I could be very wrong but I think they are still going. The song from The Young Ones was Eleven Plus Eleven....

@orangie1 Thanks for that - just found it on Youtube - not as good as I remember it but its still OK. I like the guy on harmonica and backing vocals. Every band should have one!!
