Clicker training is a super powerful tool. I highly recommend researching clicker training to everyone with any kind of pet at any stage in their life. in a little less then two weeks Captain Morgan has learned to sit, lay, paw, stay, over, under, paper trained, got to his bed, shhh, leash training, and honestly those are just the ones I can think of. We started training him at 10 weeks and we have gotten a lot better at since this video was recorded. I recommend Karen Pryor's "Getting Started Clicker Training for dogs" If you have any questions feel free to ask. Please subscribe we will be posting additional videos very soon.

    really??? no wonder people have a hard time training dogs

  • We ckicker trained my dog, and I think it worked a lot better than the the dog whisperers method. The only thing about it is that it takes longer. They never do show the dogs after he leaves for like a week.

  • well if you want to dominate your dog and make him terrified of you sure you can use the Dog Whispers method. But we like positive reenforcement. Thanks for your opionion

  • Yes .. the clicker. It's useless and retarded.

    I have trained many dogs and never once had to use this. Training is all about affirmation and confidence in the owner's voice - not useless clicking to associate concepts.

    Want to see an effective method, check out the Dog Whisperer on the Animal Channel.

    ::sigh::

  • so smart on the very first day we brought him home!
