The Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts is performed on weekdays during the Great 40 Day Fast (Lent) in the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church. In Greek practice, I didn't think black (with white accents) vestments were ever called for, except possibly for Holy and Great Friday. In Russian practice, are back vestments used during Lent? (I have a recollection of having seen black vestments on a video such as this at a Thrice Holy Service (Trisagion) , but I can't recall for whom it was served.)

beautiful sermon, today as I was driving I found a cross under my car and I picked it up. I will keep it in my car because I feel like God is sending me a message that all my worries are in the lords hands.
Thank you God
