Well, I dont read the spoilers, so I don't really know if she'll have more screentime, but the Lost writers inserted a HUGE hint into one of their episodes as to what her fate is, so I'm pretty confident in saying I know what happens to her.
I thought "The Variabel" was an ok episode, not more, and I actually didn't expect it to be anymore than just okay, even though it was the 100th episode.. This one however, with Richard Alpert flashbacks, looks to be a really great episode, I've got huge expectations, mostly about however we'll find out the origin of Alpert, and from the look on the trailer here it seems like the temple also will be featured, can't wait! =D
No, her story simply ended...a story that I'm pretty sure the writers have had in mind since early in the first season (mid-season three at the latest)...I could tell you if I want, I'm big on Lost theorizing, and Rose and Bernard's fate is universally agreed upon.
Her name is L. Scott Caldwell, and since she only appears as a guest it's possible for her to appear on other shows without being written out of Lost.
