Sweet day adventure, I really liked the transition from shadow to sun as you were paddling. I I thought you were gonna bottom out when you hit that near shore reef bed. Agree with the other guy...you got some super nice pics.
One thing I always mean to ask you, but forget....what gloves do you prefer when shoreline whipping? If I am using mono/flouro there is no need for me, but definitely like them when using braid.

@mrtoady2 thanks on the pix. The gloves I use are made by a Japanese co. called Fisherman. I like using them all the time the time for 3 reasons. They protect skin from UV's, protect from possible amputation and are really nice to grab a poky or toothy fish.

Those pictures are so beautiful they look fake, can't believe you took them. Pro quality. Is it bad to just paddle to a spot and just whip from the canoe instead of trolling the whole time?

@alawaiman thanks, Not bad to whip from oc1. In fact it is quite fun. With my lures since they are all sinkers, I have a clear bubble rig that has Fluorocarbon leader to the lure. I just unclip it and clip on a lure and start whipping. Works great.
