Caterpillar - Evolved Virtual Creature

This is animation footage I generated in order to snip short clips for making a creature evolution video for my presentation at the TAM6 conference in June 2008 in Las Vegas.

The processing time to evolve this creature was kindly donated by Ryan Orr.

What was with the background color change in the middle?

That was me trying to find a fog colour that I liked. I added a key binding for setting random fog colours, just so that I could do that. It flits by so quickly in the video because it's 30 fps whereas it's much slower when doing the actual recording (as you know).
