Typical socialist response from the lib dem - yes the bill has flaws, therefore lets extend it. A perfect example of how government creates the probelm and then attempts to solve it with even more government - a double win for them, a double loss for us.

Habeas corpus and jury trials are both to be replaced by the planned EU corpus juris. If our un-elected leaders on the commission (and the farce that is the EU "parliament") get their way,one day there will be an EPP (an un-elected European Public Prosecutor) who will decide who goes to jail and how long they stay there before trial !
Maybe we'll tell our grandchildren tales of how in the old days,each country had elected politicians and their own sovereign justice systems.
