  • I damage ball joint if I separate it from steering knuckle by fork. What if I have to fit old swing arm?

  • @mie2222 There is a tool that will separate the ball joint if you plan to reuse it. Check your Bentley repair manual for the tool number.

  • I drive a 2007 a6 and for some reason my alignment is off, my car slightly drifts 2 the right and has caused the outer tread about an inch from the outside of my tire on my front left/right tires to bald. When i took it to a shop they tried to rip me off and said that the bar (in the video at 1:04 by the "Y" in bentley) was scratched and that i caused it and the cost is $1000. it was not scratched that bad no dents and bar on the other side was fine. Can someone help me? and tell me what it is?

  • @thebigrich619 I believe you are referring to the front stabilizer bar.

  • nice, all How-To video needs to look like this. very professional and informative.

  • @wompwomp55 Thanks for the feedback! Glad you found it helpful.

  • I have a sqiking sound comming from the front part of my car (it is a 2000 2.5 TDI)...It sound when i hit any bump...What is my problem? Can someone help?

  • @attofarad32 In the torque tables we do remind viewers to reaplcxe nuts and bolts if required by Audi in factory repair information. Thanks for the feedback.

  • You should replace those other bolts, they are one time use stretch bolts.

  • I had a front control arm set (8) with links (2) and tie rod ends (2) outer installed in 2008, now with only 30,000 links went bad and lower control arms are bad. Is this normal wear?

  • exellent video, I'll use this to do my control arms, thanks.
