If the solo on PULSE made you cry, then so will this one. Gilmour's excellent improvisation really shines through here.

This is a video I found of the show in the Stadio Delle Alpi in Torino, Italy on September 13, 1994, which I synced with an audio bootleg. It is the only live recording that was recorded directly off of the soundboard, besides the one for the PULSE vhs/dvd/album. This is what accounts for the crystal clear sound, making it a unique bootleg.

Yes, I had to so it could match the video. But in reality it wasn't that much slower than the bootleg that I made it from.

Every time I watch the concert versions of Comfortably Numb, the notion that David Gilmour belongs with the greatest rock guitarists of all time becomes more and more apparent. I have said it many times that the concert incarnations of this song are so exceedingly sublime, that if I believed in a God, I would have actually thought he came down from heaven and played the guitar solo himself. Its the closest I will get to a spiritual experience, listening to music. Thanks for uploading this.
