What happened to the HD camera?

Looks like you forced the video to 4:3 format from it's original widescreen format. Please try not to do that. The video player has updated to widescreen video and we should really utilize it.

Youtube tends to bring down audio quality alongside with the video quality. A good idea is to use as little compression as possible before uploading it.

@GiGaMoG should be HD ... YouTube probably just hasn't processed it fully yet. It was recorded at 1440x1080 HD and was edited and uploaded that that. But yes, I see what you mean ... it looks a bit odd. Hmmm, not sure. Same as I always do - nothing changed here.

I've got a fulltone fulldrive 2 mosfet and i'm thinking of getting a distortion pedal cos it doesn't work well on clean amps. I was thinking of getting one of those pedals. What would you suggest?

Fair enough. In all honesty, I'd rather have him do what he's doing than nothing at all.

I've spent more time than I care to divulge punishing people with the "gain" knob. I'd like to see him give that particular control a quarter turn or two in the counterclockwise direction on EVERTYHING. I think he'd be a happier play too. I know I am now that I've stumbled upon low to medium gain settings.

I also think that sometimes the Tonekings 'tone' is a bit poor. A little too much distortion an i've always felt a lack of clarity in recording lets this down. However, as you say, he does us a great service and i actually just like listening to all the different sounds and features that come along in the guitar world. I've got a nice collection of guitars/amps/effects that i don't plan on changing, but i wouldn't want to miss anything, or fall out of the loop in terms of gear!

I'm kinda on the fence on this one. Mr. Toneking does us a great service by taping some playing through lots and lots of gear. It's pretty well presented and he seems like a really decent guy.

That being said, he calls himself the Toneking. If you call yourself the king of something, youd better be (or have in this case) the best. Turning the gain all the way up on everything wont get you that. & Referring to people as "boys and girls" sounds a bit like he's talking down to you.
