World's 3rd Most Extreme Airport

First time landing in this aircraft type in this airport with a significant cross wind (045/19-22).

For those who never heard of this airport, it's one of the toughest and most difficult to land anywhere.

Landed PA-31/350 on TFFJ (St Bart)

  • STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!! lol

Is it just me or is your fuel flow computer going buck-wild for pretty much the whole vid?

  • Expensive airplane and a 240p camera?

  • Would you say that landing there requires a good feel for your aircraft, or can you just land by numbers alone? I'm inclined to think that you really need to be one with your machine to get it down safely in the right spot.

  • Nice job landing there. Someone posted a clip of an Otter landing there and called it "extreme", which is bullshit of course. The Nav would be much more challanging as witnessed by the 6 months of normal wear life that just disapeared from this guys brakes! Do that in an Islander and you'd better have your fire extinguisher handy. There's X-wind in this clip too whereas the Otter had all headwind so this is way more exacting than the other landing. Well done mate.

  • wow it was rough landing

  • Hey Omar are you flying from Puerto Rico? I think I have seen that Navajo at SJU. Nice landing, I sort of missed reversing props on that runway.

  • You earned the cigar.

  • Come on up to Northwestern Ontario in January and we'll show you extreme LOL.

    You lucky lucky bastard!

  • Wow, Thanks- I just lost my Uncle who was a Quiet Birdman 40K hours+. He used to ferry planes like yours across the Atlantic for European deliveries. Obviously the airplanes were filled with fuel bladders and he had some great stories. Thanks for sharing you video with me.

  • wtf increble this right before the beach omg
