I do not think that Japan have a desire to invade China again because Japan can get more benefit in business than invasion which this country did before WW2 and during WW2. Japanese people have been accustomed to live peace time; however, one thing I worry about is the rising of nationalism with amazing speed. I strongly think that Japanese government should clarify the definition of the patriotism as soon as possible otherwise it is certain some crazy people misunderstand it on purpose.

this is why japan has so many problems. citizens from countries that have its media CENSORED so its fits THEIR NEEDS become manipulated so they benefit their country. do you not think china will be more than happy to be stronger than japan? rivalry is okay, because it promotes development. but false reports that promote hate? top war criminals are NOT national heroes in japan. hell, virtually no citizen even know their names. yasukuni is a memorial of past atrocities, not a worship ground

@aznpride0 Are these reasons not enough for one to get concerned?PRC speaks of ring of pearls theory. Ask Han-Han or liu xiabo or those guys in HK and you would know what their worries and aspirations are.Take into account their(your) recent history which was dominated by expansionism,brutality and imperialism under the CCP,that is worrying for anyone,leave alone India.China needs democracy to save it from itself.I have nothing against chinese people but the communists project scary prospect FYI

@aznpride0 Why are you comparing US and China? You apparently have emigrated to china from the US I presume so you know both places.The US is a democracy.What about china? Anti-democracy.The politburo makes decisions with wide reaching implications.We know how pro-democracy protesters are harmonised in HK,leave alone china.Plainclothes PRC policemen dragging protesters into the PRC border from HK has happened.That is not scary to you?As you mentioned the US is an Indian ally,what abt china?

@aznpride0 You think NK got those nukes by doing research or out of th good graces of the US like UK did? I don't think so,they got it from china just like pakistan.The relationship with Tibet even during the monarchy rein was an imperialistic one.Huge china squeezing tiny Tibet.As you said that was the way it always has been and now PRC formalised it by calling Tibet their "SAR".You should ask tibetans or do some research about it to know how they feel about the chinese before you say anything.

@cillantro The United States have naval bases in every single continents. We have troops and base in Japan, Guam, South Korea we also allied ourself with Taiwan, India and pacific nations. If you look at world map you will see that the United States already have China surrounded,so does that mean the US is an threat to World Peace? Peoples think China is an threat because they are communist and their economic and military power is growing, that's called jealousy.

@cillantro i disagree with you. China is no threat, China is doing what all powerful nations will do. China have nukes but they don't supply other nation with nukes. They don't even want North Korea to have it and North Korea is one of their trusted allies. The relationship between China and Tibet goes way back during imperial China, I think you should read about their relationship first before u say anything. If you said China is surrounding India then the US is also an threat to world peace.

China is a true threat to the world we live in,I mean they equip all rogue states with nukes!!Intercontinent missiles? maintain peace my ass.They have invaded Tibet,Nepal(indirectly)and are encircling India by turning all our neighbours against us(god only knows why) and now POK,occupying a huge portion of arunachal pradesh(90,000sqkms) and claims and incursions for rest,dealing with Sudan,Burma,NK etc.Japan has apologised and more than done enough repariaiton spl comprd to brits,euros,US etc

@gongchang02 yeah hi.Bhutan is no longer under Indian protection,they have the Royal Army from this year on.... India is the ONLY country I can think of that will give up its suzernaity voluntarily.Thats not really good for the region as is evident from our non-interference in Nepal and the maoists(backed by china ofcourse) have taken over.Burma becoming a basket case is another fine example of Indian non-interference.Sri Lanka is another example.India needs to be more active in regional affairs

Chinese economy has benefitted from wealthy neighbours ala Japan,Taiwan,South korea etc and that is one of the key reasons its economy is so buoyant.India otoh is more of an outward investor in its region(South Asia) and I wish we had prosperous neighbours like china does.Japanese military capabilites becoming more advanced is healthy for the world.Asia would experience more stability.They are an aging nation,this is NOT the 40s.An asian NATO(India,Japan,South Korea,Aus) would make asia safer...

China is increasing its paranoia while it is at it! They are afraid of increasing political movements in Hong Kong and tried introducing the Hong Kong Basic Law Article 23,which faced flak and had to be withdrawn.Macau had introduced it.PRC can't face the possibility of a secession moment in Macau! Today's Chinese economy has benefitted vastly from Japanese FDI and this is bigger than that from the USA.why would Japan invest so much money in china and then invade them?Japan is a neutral country!
