Anne Rice Vampires... [Polaris 23 Skit - Won 'Best Artisan Worksmanship']

Performed at Polaris 23 (July 11, 2009). Entered in the Artisan Division and won 'Best Artisan Worksmanship'. With the exception of the undershirts you can't really see, I drafted the patterns for all the pieces of all three costumes.

There was supposed to be a stage ninja run across the stage screaming 'Get out of my head!', but for some reason that never happened... *shrugs*

Marius - Graverg
Lestat - Zahmira
Nicki - Turbo-B

All costumes made by me over about 3 months of blood, sweat, and tears, usually in that order. After this win I was pushed into the Master Division for cons in this area.

Tis fine... anyways the whole pun was Time Lords and Vampires share 98% of genetic code... they never got a long which is why Gallifrey has two suns. But seriously you lot were briliant. You just needed a Louis, Gabrielle, and an Armand... maybe a Daniel and a David ;)

Originally we had a huge group, but one by one they dropped out until it was left with the four of us. Almost had an Akasha, but she lost the costume (ie, dad threw it out) thanks again!

I think I'll do 80s rocker Lestat sometime. I miss the 80s. XD

Sounds like fun, actually now that you say.... I do have a Louis outfit in my closet. I was him several Halloweens ago, but I am doing six this next coming one.
