@mineCraf0 No, unlike the ordinary soldiers of the Wehrmacht who fought because they were conscripted, the vast majority of the Japanese were all indoctrinated in the ways of the Bushido code and were fanatically loyal to the emperor the same way the SS were to Hitler, and would have fought because it was their duty to fight to the last for Japan.

@Anders2185 But weren't they forced to fight like most of the German boys? Like they were forced by the SS to fight? Given a choice to fight or die, I would rather fight. But... This is a serious question. I want to know it. Were they forced to fight? Were the Japs forced to fight too??
